Normal Skin and How You Can Improve It
Normal skin is the skin type everyone strives to reach, yet it seems few really achieve. For example, the skin of a baby is soft, silky smooth and perfectly moisturized. This is the definition of "normal skin". Other characteristics that describe this skin type would be a medium thickness, medium sized pores, even skin tone, firm and elastic.For this skin type, usually not much is needed to maintain it. You should however, be careful not to over stimulate the skin. You’ll want to use a good skincare routine 2 times a day to keep it clean and unblemished. A good aloe vera gel will work for most blemishes that pop up. One important concept to keep in mind, regardless of your designated skin type, is that your skin goes through cycles and is not static in nature. This means that certain areas of your skin may tend to be one way while others are a little different. These minor differences can tend to be greater or lesser depending on other things going on within the body. An example would be around that time of the month; your hormones will be much greater and can cause breakouts or maybe just a blemish or two. Other physiological differences may occur from day to day, and some days you may not notice any difference in your skin while other days you will notice a significant change. Other factors affecting your skin include your genes, your lifestyle and habits. Just remember, your skin type is determined by the characteristics of your skin over a period of time.
