Why aloe skincare is the best medicine for oily skin ......
Oily skin is easily distinguished by the shiny sheen of the skin. The pores across the nose and cheekbones are usually enlarged. People with oily skin tend to suffer from black heads and white heads, clogged pores and acne or other blemishes.
Follow these instructions to test for it:
Start by washing and drying your face. It’s a good idea to take a couple of pieces of rice paper and blot on different areas of the skin including your t-zone (forehead, nose and chin).
If the rice paper is noticeably oily after blotting with additional sheets, then you have oily skin. This can also feel painful, achy, or otherwise uncomfortable where breakouts like acne or rosacea are present.
If you see oil present on the paper from the t-zone, but experience dryness on you cheeks, then you have combination skin. There are other types of combination skin, but the important thing to keep in mind is that those with this skin type show 2 or more skin type characteristics.
Now, let’s get down to what causes most oily skin problems. Many products on the market today found at your local drug store or Wal-Mart are made with harsh chemicals and are usually heavy on the alcohol. These chemicals strip away the natural oil your skin produces and leave your skin pH out of balance and dehydrated. As a result, your skin works even harder to replace the oil that has been lost and you end up with skin that is over oiled.
However, excess oil does not equal hydration! The more products you use to strip away the excess oil, the harder your skin will continue to work to replace it. Even all natural ingredients can sometimes have a similar effect by using herbs or plant extracts that are too strong in formulation or maybe their just too strong naturally to use on the skin. While they may have a curative effect internally, they just may not balance the skin when applied directly on it.
Another aspect is fragrances and synthetic dyes that are used to make the product a more pleasing color or scent. Synthetic fragrances have been found to block cells in the body from eliminating waste. This can block not only pores on your face, but clog various cells throughout the body.
Use of these chemicals can also increase sensitivity to other toxins you may come in contact with. So not only could it cause an allergic reaction from the fragrance, but it could cause you to have allergic reactions to other that you may have otherwise not had a direct allergy to. Some reactions to synthetic dyes or fragrances could include, skin irritation, disruption of hormones, and even digestive problems. So how do we go about correcting this oil issue? Well you see, that all depends on your situation.
• If you’re looking to correct oily skin with breakouts of acne or other blemishes I would recommend using L’Bri Deep Pore Cleanser, Deep Pore Freshener, and L’Bri Aloe Jelly as your moisturizer. All three are necessary in order to balance your skin’s pH and help restore the natural acid barrier you skin is missing from using harsh chemicals or heavy soaps. You’ll want to use these products twice a day, morning and evening.
Deep Pore Cleanser
Deep Pore Freshener
Aloe Jelly as a moisturizer for blemished skin
• If you have extremely oily skin with breakouts or excessively blemished skin, I would recommend using the same combination listed above (cleanser, freshener, and aloe jelly), plus the Klear Away lotion. This added step will help to speed along your skin’s recovery to blemish free skin by healing current breakouts while preventing new ones from forming. Klear Away can be used once or twice a day.
• If your skin is oily but you do not have many breakouts, I would recommend using L’Bri Deep Pore Skin Care Trio. This trio includes the Deep Pore Cleanser, Deep Pore Freshener, and Oil-free Moisturizer. Again, you’ll want to use these products twice a day, morning and evening.
Oil Free Moisturizer
Important Note: Even if your skin is oily, you should always use a moisturizer of some kind twice a day! The only way to correct and balance your skin is to use an oil free moisturizer. Before you order anything, I highly recommend that you order the free samples (just pay shipping). These samples last for 10 to 14 days and while all your problems may not be solved in this time, I think you will be pleasantly surprised how far you skin can heal in this amount of time (given the right products, or course ;) ). Also, note that each of these products will last on average 3 to 4 months and I have found for me it’s more like 4 to 5.
